Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-27

Algorista is operated by Wildland Press (sole proprietorship), based in Madrid, New Mexico. This policy describes what personal information the studio collects from customers and visitors at blossommerz.com, how that information gets used, and the choices each customer has about it.

What gets collected

When a customer places an order, the studio receives:

  • Name and shipping address — to ship the order
  • Email address — to send order confirmation, tracking, and any necessary follow-up about the order
  • The list of items in the order and the total paid

Payment information (card number, expiration, CVV) is handled by Square, the payment processor. Algorista does not see, store, or have access to full card numbers. Square's privacy practices are described at squareup.com.

If a visitor signs up for the monthly newsletter, the email address is stored at MailerLite, the email service. MailerLite's privacy practices are described at mailerlite.com. Unsubscribing removes the email from that list.

The site uses minimal cookies — only what's needed to make pages load and to remember a visitor's preferences within a session. No third-party advertising cookies are placed. No cross-site tracking pixels are loaded.

How the information gets used

Order information is used to fulfill the order, communicate about it, and meet the studio's tax and bookkeeping obligations under New Mexico law.

Newsletter signups are used for one purpose: sending the monthly note. No reselling, no sharing with third parties, no transfer to any party except the email service (MailerLite) that delivers it.

Who sees the information

  • Square — sees the payment portion of the transaction
  • MailerLite — sees the email address of newsletter subscribers
  • USPS (or another shipping carrier when chosen) — sees the name and shipping address printed on the label
  • The studio — sees all of the above for the purpose of running the business

That's the full list. No marketing companies, no data brokers, no analytics resellers.

How long the information is kept

Order records are kept for as long as state tax and recordkeeping rules require — currently a minimum of four years in New Mexico. After that, records may be retained for the studio's own reference, or deleted on request (see "Your rights" below).

Your rights

Customers in California, and customers in other US states with similar laws (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others), have the right to:

  • Know what personal information the studio holds about them
  • Request a copy of that information
  • Request deletion of that information, subject to tax and recordkeeping rules
  • Opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information for advertising purposes. Algorista does not sell or share customer information for advertising — this opt-out is granted by default
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

To make any of these requests, email algoristanm@gmail.com. The studio will respond within thirty days.

Information from minors

Algorista does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen. If a parent or guardian believes the studio has collected such information, email algoristanm@gmail.com and it will be deleted.

Changes to this policy

When the policy changes, the Last updated date at the top of this page changes with it. Substantive changes get a note in the monthly newsletter.
